Lose [amount] of weight...save up [amount] of money...start this diet...stop that habit...

I feel like when people make New Year's Resolutions, they're always so hard on themselves. Isn't it true, though? We always make resolutions that, well, push us way to hard. No wonder they fade in the first three days!

Now, don't get me wrong. I think it's a great thing to make resolutions, and I will definitely be making some. But, this year, let's not push ourselves too hard. And let's not set goals that, if we don't accomplish them, we're going to feel like failures.

Don't say, "I'm going to lose twenty pounds"

But, instead, "I'm going to lose some weight"

Every step counts. So any step that you are closer to your goal in the new year is an accomplishment. And it's not an excuse to be lazy and say "Well, I took one step towards my goal -- now I can sit here and do nothing."

No -- if you take one step, then take another! Keep on going until you reach that goal but don't push yourself too hard to reach it.

That being said, here are my New Year's Resolutions for 2017!
